I believe the following things regarding salvation and walking with Christ:
* That God is the creator of the world (Genesis 1:1)
* In the Holy Trinity (John 14:16-7; Matthew 28:19)
* That humankind is inherently evil, and that righteousness can only come via atonement
(Isaiah 64:6)
*That atonement for the sins of humankind could only come via the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
(1 John 2:2)
*In the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues (Acts 2:4, Acts 19:6)
* That women can serve on leadership in the role of pastors, elders, worship pastors, and apostles. (Romans 16:7, Galatians 3:28)
*In a glory to glory pursuit of holiness (2 Corinthians 3:18)
* That Jesus is coming back for a bride without a spot or wrinkle (Ephesians 5:27)
I believe that salvation can occur via a simple prayer. If you would like to accept Jesus into your heart repeat the following prayer:
Dear Lord, I thank you for sending your son Jesus to die on the cross for me. I admit that I am a sinner in need of your mercy and grace. Lord, I repent for my sins. I ask that you come into my heart and cleanse me of my sins. Lord, please change my life and make me more like You. Amen.
That's it! You're saved. I encourage you to get plugged into a Bible teaching church and a discipleship (or small group) program so that you can grow in your walk with the Lord.
